//i started a new tumblr called “my boo hates me.” i actually hope that my boo doesn’t hate me, because i adore him, but i think it’s a funny name for a tumblr about anxiety and depression. i’m re-blogging all of the tumblr posts i stumble upon that concern depression, anxiety, and a general mindfulness of feelings, because, well, there are a lot of them and i think it’s interesting. and it’s related to my thesis…what isn’t these days?//

I don’t hate my boo, who is working on an interaction design thesis relating to anxiety and using this Tumblr to collect posts about it and related subjects. Many of the posts have a billion notes and reblogs, which leads me to think: maybe in an increasingly segmented culture, the last things we all undeniably share are our secret doubts and insecurities about ourselves and the world around us. (Or maybe the types of people that have Tumblrs are more likely to be going through some shit. Also possible.)
