Chat with Dan Gurewitch, In Its Entirety
Me: PENIS
Dan Gurewitch: You're a grown man. A grown adult man with a job, and responsibilities. People depend on you, people seek your wisdom - the wisdom gained from years of life experience, years of maturing - maturing not into little Bill, or Billy, but Will. Indeed, William. A man who walks this Earth fully developed, having attained and subsequently become the very definition of adulthood, and what it means to leave the silly and trite pursuits and distractions of youth behind and step forward into the light, pursuing a higher, more important goal. The most recent adult human male after thousands of years of evolution - an example of the full extent of homo sapien development up until this very day, which by definition is the most advanced day in the history of our human society. You bear that torch. It is yours to bear. What you choose to do with it, is up to you.
And here’s another one of the shorts Ben & I wrote for Ed Helms & Michael Buble (for Buble’s upcoming special; the videos keep surfacing today). According to AOL, this particular one might only air on the Internet - I don’t know what NBC’s plans are, exactly. Anyway, enjoy!
Ben and I wrote digital shorts starring Ed Helms & Michael Buble, for Buble’s upcoming NBC special A Michael Buble Christmas. NBC just posted this short; the others will be on the show when it airs Dec. 6th. I’m a big fan of both of these guys, so it was very exciting to get to write for them.
Fans of silly names will be happy to hear that their 70s alter-egos are named Frank...

This Daily Show interview with Judge Andrew Napolitano is an entertaining and good-spirited debate that clearly delineates two points of view about government’s role in citizens’ lives. I wish all people I disagree with could be as charming as Napolitano, and Stewart is particularly on his Elizabeth Warren-y game. The interview is full of pithy quotes that effectively boil down complex...
Advice to Political Journalists
Love your interviews with politicians - great suits! But I feel like there’s this super helpful follow-up question you have in your back pockets, and none of you guys use it! Maybe you’re shy? Or you’re just excited to get onto your next question because you had it written down on your pad? In any case, you should totally break it out this campaign season, it would be so...

I was interviewed by the website Opportunity LOL. If you’d like, you can read the interview here. Watch out though, because I’m a super fascinating person so you might want to, you know, set aside an entire evening and curl up with some comfort foods.

– Conan writer Todd Levin, for GOOD Magazine “Just Like That but Funny” (vialonelysandwich)
Two true things at work here:
1. There is definitely an essential problem that starts developing when you write and are surrounded by comedy every day, and that’s that certain choices/jokes/concepts...

Trick Shots!!! (with Wayne Gretzky). Wrote this video with Patrick. It’s ridiculous. I’m honored to join the esteemed club of writers whose jokes have been delivered by Wayne Gretzky.
